LINDA VIGDOR, MFA, PhD

me

I recently defended my dissertation, An Intersectional Reading of Gender & Technology. I work at the intersection of technology studies (philosophical, sociological, cultural, political, education, feminist, and the arts), theories of gender, notions of education, policy, and the politics of knowledge and "objectivity." Drawing on a broad research base, I aim to critically rethink the way supposedly common problems are framed (e.g. the "underrepresentation of women in computing"). That is, I love to pose new questions.
